As a screenwriter, I’ve written scripts for spec and for hire. Over the years, I’ve been represented by two Hollywood agents. (Names on request) Two of my screenplays were optioned. . One of my scripts, Hello in There, recently won two accolades in the Austin Film Festival.

I wrote and produced a trailer for my Texas Dick project. (Cowboys, crooks and Shakespeare’s Richard III and Falstaff in romantic comedy, set and shot in the Austin area.) I managed to produce it for $7,000 of other people’s money because ninety-seven actors, comedians, sound techs, makeup artists, trick-riders, gaffer, etc. were dying to work on a film like this for nominal pay.
